Statement of Purpose. Mission Norman is a private, publicly supported, non-profit corporation organized and operated to minister to a hurting world, particularly to persons who are homeless, by providing shelter, clothing, food, counseling, and other services as a ministry founded upon and carried out for the love of God and His son, Jesus Christ. We exist to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ among the un-churched by doing the following:

  • Directly and actively ministering to individuals and families in need of shelter, food, medical care and other necessities of life as a Christian ministry devoted to carrying the love of Jesus into a hurting world, thereby advancing and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Developing and implementing programs of support, counseling, education, and ministry to persons in need to help them attain self-sufficiency and self-respect
  • Conducting events and providing educational opportunities, as well as developing and disseminating materials to help churches, civic groups, charitable groups, and the public at large to understand the circumstances and needs of people in need of shelter, food, medical care and other life necessities
  • Working in cooperation with public and private charitable, religious, and educational organizations concerned with people in need of shelter, food, medical care, and other life necessities 
  • Developing educational programs
  • Collecting and raising money to carry out the programs and activities of Mission Norman in order to serve those in need
  • Possessing facilities to provide housing and care for individuals and families in need

Mission Norman Receives Accredidation (Norman Transcript)

The Evangelical Council for FinancialAccountability (ECFA) recently awarded accreditation to Mission Norman.

ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA seven standards of responsible stewardship, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

Mission Norman joins a growing number of Christ centered churches and ministries across America, supported by more than 20 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

Founded in 1998, Mission Norman conducts Bible studies at multiple housing sites weekly, where 95 percent are unchurched. Mission Norman is an evangelistic, non-denominational, Christ-Centered , teaching and discipleing orgainization Mission Norman provides a food pantry and resources to help with utilities, rent, etc. All of this helps prevent hunger and homelessness.

Mission Norman is a 501c3 charitable organization. Donations are tax -deductible.
