God is doing exciting things in Norman, Oklahoma! Hurting individuals and families are finding new hope. People are meeting Jesus Christ.
By God’s grace, Mission Norman provides spiritual and physical help to thousands of Oklahomans every year, but the need is still great. He has given us a vision to plant and equip a Body of Believers in every apartment complex, mobile home park and multi-housing community in central Oklahoma. He has called us to better provide for the poor and homeless in our midst.
It is a large task, but God is able. We trust the One who has brought us so far.
On May 18, at 11:31 at night, the Norman City Council approved Mission Norman to build transitional living facilities on its property! These facilities will be used to help families with children back onto their feet and
on to becoming working, tax paying citizens. These facilities will help reduce the great need for shelter in Norman. There are more than 50 homeless families in Norman and these facilities will be able to serve 20 of those.
